“Thoughts about my Thoughts within Thinking while Thinking”

Who has ever thought about their thoughts within their thinking while thinking? This conundrum of mental constipation is a question I believe all of humanity wrestle with within the timeline of life at some point. I believe that this process of considering your thoughts within your thinking while thinking is a presentation of seeking to understand the issues of the human mind while wrestling with the mind of issues. All of our thoughts are perverted towards evil which manifests from a deeper spiritual broken relationship between humanity and God. We all long for the answers of the existential questions we struggle with while we cruise through the journey of life. A few existential questions one may ponder are: “What is the meaning of my life? What is my ultimate purpose and reason for living? Where did I come from or what is my origin? What is my destiny in life? How do I measure my life? What is humanity’s biggest mistake?” All of these are existentialistic questions that we as human beings innately struggle with. Well as you are reading this, I am sure you may be asking “WHAT IS EXISTENTIALISM?”

Existentialism is a form of philosophy which magnifies self, one’s ability to exercise personal free will and will of choice, and examines the issue of anxiety that individuals experience when they comprehend they are responsible for their own actions in a perceived absurd universe. The history will show that the first point of reference for existentialism is Soren Kierkegaard as the first existentialist philosopher, who was a Danish philosopher and a Christian Theologian. Kierkegaard was very amazed and astounded by heroic figures who pursued the impossibilities and the absurdities in life as he called it. He called this type of person a “Knight of Faith” which a biblical example would be the ancient patriarch of old, Abraham.

When we explore Genesis 22, we see the manifestation of the Knight of Faith being played out in the narrative. Abraham and his wife were in old age beyond the years to have a child but Sarah miraculously conceived a child, Isaac, in her old age which God had promised the couple. The promise also had benefits promised by God in that Isaac would have many descendants and that one of them would be the one God would use to bring healing to the world. After receiving the miracle child, God commands Abraham to sacrifice his son as a test of his faith. Abraham believing that God would provide a sacrifice proceeded to offer his son as a sacrifice by thrusting a knife into his son but as he was just about to perform the sacrifice, God provided a substitute of sacrifice in the form of a ram caught in the thicket.

All of this relates to existentialism because when one considers the narrative, it exhibits the notion that often times in life we may find ourselves in a subjective circumstance in which reason cannot help. There are situations we all find ourselves in whether it be health challenges, toxic relationships, financial dilemmas, unemployment, racial barriers, dysfunctional families, drug and/or sexual addictions, and etc. We also find ourselves in subjective dilemmas with self trying to resolve who we are, why we do certain things, why we think certain ways, and resolve other “why” questions of life. One of the most relevant subjective circumstances of the present is the pandemic of Corona where reason cannot help with the circumstance. One’s thoughts within their thinking while thinking will actually result in insanity when considering all of life’s turmoil, unknowns, rejections, disappointments, and distresses. The ultimate destination of considering your thoughts within your thinking while thinking will place you at anxiety when left to resolve by your own self-will.

We are in need of something greater than us to guide our thoughts within our thinking so we can better manage the thoughts within our thinking while thinking. While many individuals have thoughts, most individual seldom think about their thoughts. The atheist cannot truly justify their thoughts or their thinking because they have no standard by which to ascribe to perform such an action beyond themselves. I believe that one must embrace that God does exist. When man refuses to concede and confess the existence of his creator, he blinds his thinking to what he is, who he is, why he is, and where he is going. He ultimately masquerades his true identity and The Truth of his life by dismissing what is The Way of life.

John 14:6 (6) Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

The unbeliever further discredits their creative purpose by denying God’s existence which causes one to miss the depthless oceans of God’s truth, understanding, wisdom, and knowledge. To truly understand who you are, you must seek to know God which only comes through understanding the Savior whose name is Jesus, and this ultimately starts by reading the holy divine inspired words we know as the bible. When you read the Word, you get to know the thoughts within the thoughts of the greatest thinker who is perfected thinking which I know as Jesus who is the embodiment of the Mind of God. When you open the bible to read the word, you are really reading the thoughts of a perfected being from another realm who is God. His thoughts align your thoughts by learning how he thinks which redefines how you think which only proves that even your thoughts transcend this physical realm because they are metaphysical and transcendent. Therefore, no physical entity or worldly institution will ever do justice in resolving your issues of thoughts within your thinking, but only God who is the Creator of your thoughts is able to give you the appropriate instruction in his creation manual, the Bible, to help you learn how to correctly manage your thoughts and thinking.

Romans 1:21-22 (21) For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God nor gave thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking and darkened in their foolish hearts. (22) Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools,

1 Samuel 15:29 (29) Also the Glory of Israel will not lie or change His mind; for He is not a man that He should change His mind.”

Psalms 19:7-9 (7) The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. (8) The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. (9) The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of them are righteous.
